PAAL 2007

The PAAL Conference is a forum for academic exchanges among scholars and practitioners in applied linguistics and related areas. The conference provides a venue for the dissemination of current research on a wide variety of issues concerning Asia and beyond. This year, the conference is co-hosted by PAAL and Cross-Cultural Distance Learning Center, Waseda University and Digital Campus Consortium.

The 12th PAAL Conference will be held in Pattaya, Thailand at Royal Cliff Resort from Wednesday, 19 to Friday, 21 December, 2007. Pattaya whose meaning in the Thai language is "south-west monsoon wind" is located about 150 kilometers from Bangkok and is one of the most successful beach resorts in the world. Every year a million visitors visit there and enjoy its myriad attractions.
